My day job kept me pretty busy today. It seems everyone wanted to buy Internet Advertising on the same day. Go figure!

But I still maneged to get some work done here on the forum.

Today I added a forum that will contain entries of all the latest Blog entries. Hmmmm....that sounds almost redundant for some reason! This new forum category will make it easy for people to see who has recently updated their blogs. I'm really hoping that more people will create their blogs once they see the fun we're having!

Its been raining here in Minnesota today. I need to get out and change the oil on my diesel, but the thought of laying in the wet grass put me off from doing it. The truck is too big to fit in the garage. But I guess owning a big truck is what its all about!

It's been another busy day on the forum. Today I finished modifying the forum to display logos above the vendor forums. Now when you go into the Explora-Dome forum you will see the Explora-Dome logo at the top of the forum. If you click on the logo, it will take you directly to the Explora-Dome web site. This will make it easy for our visitors to find out more information about the companies that they ready about here.

The weather here in Minnesota is FINALLY getting nice! I was able to have my office window open all day while I worked. Hopefully, I'll be able to get out and work on the Observatory soon! Its heck when work gets in the way of playing! Something is definately wrong with my priorities!

It's been a busy day. Today I added a modification to the forum to display random photos from the gallery on the front page of the forum. This should be a great addition and will let people see that we have a photo gallery in the forum. People love pics! I also plan to add a modification that will display a camera under a person's Avatar if they have created their own photo gallery. That way people can click on a person's camera and see their gallery. Should be cool!

What a long day. *sigh....

Its 1:30 AM and I'm still working. One of my customer's servers had a motherboard go bad. The new board arrived today but I didn't have time to start replacing the old board until this evening. They aren't the same motherboards, either, and I had to fake out windows 2003 server in order for it to work with the new motherboard without reinstalling windows. I should be all done in about 15 minutes. I'm tired.

Earlier today I created a whole new masthead and graphics for the top of the forum. I think it came out rather nice looking, if I do say so. I'm not a graphics person but every now and then I get lucky and something clicks and it works.

Spent today working on the skin for the new forum. I learned a lot things. One of which is that the skin was full of problems and will very likely need to be abandoned in favor of something else.
