Just a few shots in and around the observatory last night.

1. Milky Way over my house and dome.

2. North east view.

Love that southern Milky Way!

You look kind of cold sitting there, but then I must remember you're heading for winter. We're just about out of our great weather and getting ready to enter the hot months.

It's beautifully cold Ron. The CCD chips are loving it and so am I!

Your setup looks great, a bit sparce but im sure it wont take long to fill the space.

It's no accident it's sparse. I want as much room as possible for visitors. I hate clutter. The minimalist look is what I want upstairs, so there's no tripping over anything or bumping into stuff in the dark.

Seeing you sit there in the cold (I am not a cold person) so I wonder if you have a cable shaft down stairs which I would imagine is your warm room. Or perhaps it is your cool room for summer observing.

Maybe when I get older Ron. For now, I prefer to be with the gear and really being a part of it. There is a warm-room downstairs, for coffee breaks.
