A fitting topic for the Introductions Forum. Are you brave enough to post a fairly recent picture of yourself? I'll be the first to go. Taken nearly two years ago. Our daughter Tia was 11, our son Travis was 6, and I was 43. Taken on the streets of Lake Placid, NY., site of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games.

Ya know... I'm always the one BEHIND the camera... I have some OLD pics, but nothing appealing...

I'll have to look...

All I can find for now is a pic of me on the couch with my dog kissing me. (Looks kindof bad!) smile.gif

Andy,

Given that black background behind those rock formations you're standing in front of, looks as though you could be standing on the Moon! 8)

The background in that shot is an alcove they call "Geronimo's cave"! Not really a cave though and I don't think Geronimo was ever here so I don't know why it was named such. :?

Yes, I figured in must be some type of cave opening in the background. But if you were in a spacesuit w/ the helmet on, I'd swear it looks like a photo taken on the lunar surface!

OK, OK .... here's the famous "Moon over SometimesKen" pic taken at Colonial Park in Somerville, NJ at one of NJ Night Skys Star Parties. That's my Meade 127Ed riding an Atlas mount with a 8" extension.

Thanks Neo. It's always nice to put a face with a name. I have a hard time finding "decent" pictures too, as I seem to be the photographer of the household. And when I do get in some, I very rarely like them
